After years of watching my own hair and so many other women struggle to thrive under products that weren’t made for us, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I started researching, learning, and formulating from scratch infusing herbs, roots, and plants that our ancestors trusted long before “natural hair care” became a trend. What began as small kitchen experiments grew into a full line of handmade, herbal-rich products that actually work for textured hair.
Every product is created with intention not to chase trends or copy others, but to restore what was lost: trust, honesty, and the beauty of healthy natural hair.
Hi, I’m Winnifred — Founder of Toks Natural
For nearly a decade, I battled severe hair loss. It started gradually my hair thinning, shedding here and there and I didn’t think much of it at first. I was comfortable wearing wigs, so I learned to hide it. But after the birth of my first son, things got worse. My hair began falling out in handfuls. I tried every product I could find, hoping one would stop the breakage and bring my hair back to life.
Nothing worked.
After my second son was born, the shedding became unbearable. Every time I brushed my hair, clumps would fall out. My bathroom floor was covered with strands, and I was watching my hair and my confidence disappear.
Then I discovered Ayurvedic herbs.
What started as a desperate attempt to fix my own hair turned into something life-changing. I began crafting my own DIY treatments infusing herbs, roots, and oils right in my kitchen. Slowly, my scalp healed. My hair started growing again thicker, fuller, and stronger than it had ever been.
That’s how Toks Natural was born from pain, patience, and the power of nature.
Today, Toks Natural is more than a brand. It’s a movement helping women restore their hair, their confidence, and their connection to nature. Every product is made from carefully chosen herbs and oils that truly nourish the scalp and stimulate healthy growth.
